There is just too much beer in the world to only taste twice a month. In the spirit of more is better the Blind Tiger podcast team has decided to add samplesodes to the podcast lineup. These mini-episodes will feature only tastings of hopefully unique or exotic beer, often on location to keep your Blind Tiger intake at a more regular interval.
This samplesode Mike, Jesse, and I visited Lancaster City’s staple brewery, Lancaster Brewing Company. We were joined by friends and fellow craft beer crazies Dave Straub and Justin Chlan who recently spent a bit of time in the great state of Maine drinking the fine beers from the smaller and impressive breweries in and around Portland, Maine.
Justin and Dave were awesome enough to not only share their experiences of Maine with us for the show they also donated a few beers for us all to try. They donated the following beers for us to enjoy.
- Baxter Brewing Co’s Stowaway IPA
- Main Beer Company’s Lunch
- Main Beer Company’s Mean Old Tom
- Allagash Black
While their adventures in “Vacationland” was regrettably devoid of moose sightings it certainly was filled with some amazing beer. We extend a huge thanks to both Dave and Justin for sharing their time, energy, experiences, and beer. We hope they’ll consider coming back to the show in the future after their next craft beer vacations.
Keep and eye out for the next full episode scheduled for release next Thursday and of course the next samplesode.
Thanks for listening and of course, as always, keep on drinking!Podcast: Play in new window | Download
