There is just too much beer in the world to only taste twice a month. In the spirit of more is better the Blind Tiger podcast team has decided to add samplesodes to the podcast lineup. These mini-episodes will feature only tasting a single but hopefully unique or exotic beer, often on location to keep your Blind Tiger intake at a more regular interval.
This week we start a new format of the samplesode where Mike and I just try some beers, discuss their merits and flaws, and chat about whatever tangentially related topics come to mind. This week we went with four random selections that span the entire range of taste. We have bitter, oaky, sweet and sour. All of them distinct and all of them actually quite delicious. We even started with the heavy ABV beers so you can listen to us get more whimsical as the podcast goes on.
The beers we are tasting are:
- The Bruery’s White Oak
- Lion Brewery Ceylon PLC’s Lion Stout
- Palm Brewery’s Rodenbach
- 21st Amendment Bitter American
Give it a listen to see if your thoughts match ours or perhaps you can be inspired to try a new beer from our selection.
Keep an eye out for the next full episode scheduled for release next Thursday and of course the next samplesode.
Thanks for listening and of course, as always, keep on drinking!Podcast: Play in new window | Download
