There is just too much beer in the world to only taste twice a month. In the spirit of more is better the Blind Tiger podcast team has decided to add samplesodes to the podcast lineup. These mini-episodes will feature only tastings of hopefully unique or exotic beer, often on location to keep your Blind Tiger intake at a more regular interval.
This week Mike, Jesse, and myself gathered to discuss of Lancaster’s more enigmatic yet awesome craft beer destinations; Tellus 360. Is it a bar/restaurant, is it a music venue, is it a recording studio, is a yoga studio, is it just a destination? The answer is yes but also not really.
Tellus 360 has somehow managed to capture a unique vibe as being a Lancaster destination for music, food, beer, and culture all without defining itself as being any of those things specifically. The owners have adopted Lancaster as a second home and have thrown themselves fully behind any endeavor that might make Lancaster a better place. From making St. Patrick’s Day a bigger event in Lancaster to celebrating our own exciting event of Capital Day to being a force for good in Lancaster’s ever-growing music and arts scene to embracing the buy fresh, buy local farmer’s market vibe. Somehow Tellus 360 has embraced it all without being defined by that.
Mike, Jesse, and I went there to sample some good food, to sample some good beer, and to discuss the merits of that which defies definition. Listen in to see what we think of this new Lancaster hot spot.Podcast: Play in new window | Download
